A splash of coral

Hi everyone! It's another Friday again...time really flies. Here you can see another bright-colored outfit my sister and I shot today. It is a really casual look with bright coral Miss Selfridge shorts paired to a bright blue loose blouse. I was carrying a green Hermès Garden Party bag borrowed from my sister that she got it from Paris, accessorized with a Hermès twilly.

The bag is so roomy that I can stuff almost everything inside. :)

I don't know why the shorts in the photos seem like light pink or orange, while the actual color is coral.

Candy Pink

Thanks to Fashion Designer Elsa Schiaparelli, in 1947 she introduced the color hot pink into western fashion. She dubbed the shade "shocking pink", though today the color is more associated as "magenta".

I'm so into bright colors from pink to yellow to blue to green, so please bear with me that I'll be posting a lot of bright-colored outfits in my future posts. I really ♥ my hot pink skirt...it's fun, vibrant and sensual. Pink is sometimes seen as the color of happiness and is sometimes seen as lighthearted. I paired the skirt with a two-colored blouse from Topshop in London. The material of the blouse is very delicate that I have to be extra careful when I put onto the hanger or wear it because I don't want any tiny damage to happen.

And for the belt...I actually have 3 of the same belt but in different colors {tanned brown, black, and pink coral}. I got the belts from Charles & Keith in Singapore.

I adore my clutch! with the fur details blanket the whole purse. lovely!! ♥

Summer Dawn

The weather was impeccable for taking a couple of shoots that I thought I could put up on my blog. It was sunny and a bit of breezy.

This was my first time wearing my orangey dress...it's actually a one-piece dress that goes perfectly with the laced top. The top actually belongs to my Mum that she recently bought, but I nicely asked whether I could have it and deem it as my own and she said YES!

Lime Green

Aloha! A huge apology to my dear readers that I've been away for so long from this blogsphere :)

I received an email this morning from one lovely FAN! Anya from Los Angeles (you guys may check out her blog www.pneumoniawhite.blogspot.com, if you happen to read this..I'm saying hello back! and I was so thrilled to receive your email this morning and glad to hear that you love my Blog! much ♥♥♥!

Bold, bright, and candy colors are really dominant for this season. When you hit the mall this season...don't forget to check a few bright items off your list. Adorn yourself in the hottest colors from pink to yellow to blue to green, and any other bright color that you like!

Of course the most important thing is not to overdo it! Today I had lime green on my mind so I was wearing my lime green romper from MANGO that I bought ages ago, paired with my basic boyfriend blazer.

The clutch was my recent purchase from Singapore. It's from Folli Follie...I was smitten with the color at first sight!♥ My sister has it too and she actually has it in orange and lime green.

Btw...I really love my YSL Arty ring!! I have been searching for this ring for long! been trying to look for it in Hongkong like last year and then finally I got it from YSL Singapore but it was pre-ordered and the ring arrived after 3 months! And thanks for my lovely friend who has helped me order it! ♥

Sorry for the poor quality of the photos... I ran out of my SLR battery so I got to use my other camera :(
Stay tuned guys, I promise to post more looks tomorrow! ;)

Anna Dello Russo rules!

Anna Dello Russo. Who doesn't know her? She's the most legendary style icon. Helmut Newton once described her as a fashion maniac. The 48-year-old Dello Russo is a journalist, stylist and is currently the Editor in Chief and creative consultant for Vogue Japan. She has become quite a style icon, of course, in recent years, famously making sartorial statements in straight-off-the-runway looks and she's never wearing the same outfit twice. She's well known for her outrageous dress sense that makes her to be one of the influential bloggers - a muse!

She has a zoolike collection with tons of shoes, bags, hats, dresses and coats. If you are familiar with fashion shows and glamorous parties, you'll surely meet her. She's never afraid to go bold, making the most eccentric trends that look outstanding and unforgettable.

I love below outfits that she's wearing...very classy.

And below is my favorite of the above. Looking fit and flawless in classic black and white.

Céline Mini Shopper Reveal ♥♥♥

Every year fashion always brings you something new to the universe. This time Céline has been extremely genius to offer you the 'It' bag for Fall 2011, the Céline Mini Shopper bag. I'm so in love with this bag. I just think it's a great invention by Céline and we should thank to Phoebe Philo, the British designer who made the success of the Shopper. After her success at Chloe, it wouldn't have been a long shot to guess she would do the same at Céline. But two years in, she's creating modern, easy wearing pieces that nearly everyone relates to and desires. The Céline Mini Shopper is now the favorite among celebrities and bag lovers as seen below. The Shopper in all its color seems to be the most spotted bag in Paris streets during Fashion Week.

Leighton Meester was spotted carrying a Céline's Boston Tote

Nicole Richie was spotted in Paris for Fashion Week showcasing her street style. She's rocking with that Céline lambskin mini shopper bag.
Below is the tri-color version.

And..I'm craving for this Celine mini shopper in camel (see below). It's a real beauty. Love the camel color, it's such a great neutral and love the curved edging as well as the structured roominess. This should be one of the must have wardrobe pieces!
What a warm pretty camel tan that color is!! ♥
